I recently purchased a vacation home in upstate NY. The Verizon coverage map indicates that I should have coverage, but I don't. Occasionally, I will be able to receive a text at my location, but 95% of the time I don't have any service. I have a Galaxy 4 and my wife has a Samsung Stratosphere II. Neither of us are getting service. Is there anything I can do, aside from driving 3 miles down the road every time I need to make a call?

Hi Atcee
Let's look into this together! Does service improve outside? What zip are you in? I would be happy to see what options are available.

I am in zip code 12827. On a rare occasion I am able to receive service and
make calls, getting either no bars or one bar of I'm lucky. This is when I
am outdoors. According to your coverage map, my address should be
receiving service but this isn't the case. Help!

We're definitely here to help, atcee. The 12827 zip code is pretty large, and terrain in the area can cause signal to vary depending on where you are around town. If you put your specific address into www.vzw.com/maps, is it near a white spot of the map? Are you able to get signal when you are away from your new home?
