I keep getting a message that "com.motorola. CCC has stopped working" at startup, and at random times throughout the day.

What is this for, and how can I fix it?

Thanks

Thank you for reviewing and providing these details to us, RT65. I was searching around for more info on this error message, but I wasn't able to find much on it either. Looking over Motorola's forums, one customer stated that performing a factory device reset helped stop it.

I recommend backing up your data before trying this step though.

I know having this error message pop up is frustrating RT65 but we are here to help. What phone do you have? Is your software up to date? This could be due to an incompatible application that may need to be removed or updated. I recommend removing any problematic apps off your phone and ensuring your software is updated,

Please keep us posted on how the phone is working.

I've been having this issue for months. It seems to have begun with the last soak test download. My phone has Version 24.13.2 obake_maxx_version.Verizon.en.US

There aren't any apps that are causing the issue. I thought about a factory reset but haven't tried it yet. This is very frustrating.

Hello.

Thanks for responding.

I have a droid maxx.

Everything is up to date, this failure doesn't seem to occur with any particular program.

It always occurs upon startup, and sometime will just randomly pop up.

Thanks!

Rick

I do not want to  do a factory reset.  Motorola needs to fix the glitch and Verizon needs to push out an update.

Okay everyone

Android OS uses .com files for Internet enabled apps. motorola is for motorola. So one of the motorola apps is giving error.

If it was me I would disable notifications for every motorola or "moto" app I could find in apps and notifications. I see 5 apps. Start notification for each app 1 at a time. When error notification starts Look for an update for that app.

First you do keep apps and system updated... Restarting the computer phone after app and system update is a good practice!!

Since you said "at startup, and at random times throughout the day." I would say it was the notification app.

I wonder how many apps moto/motorola has in google play store.

cdbanks, I'm sorry to hear that you are still having trouble with your device! We are here to help resolve this. How often are you receiving this error message? Does it occur when you are doing anything specific such as using a specific app, or completing a certain action?
