hi all, has anyone had issues with online (my verizon) showing more data used than total amount used? Yes, my personal phone usage says 1.191gb has been used but the total (& I have 3 phones) say the usage is 0.0494gb. This is very frustrating & i have called numerous times all with no reason why it shows this but to just wait it out until the bill comes. give me your thoughts please?

i don't know, but i would take screen shots of your account online so if you go over, you can show them that you were gauging your use by their own website.

Unless you have a share everything plan, each phone you have pays for its own data. Therefore each phone collects its own data usage but the total data usage is the adding of all the phones. However, if you are on their new share everything plan, I don't really know. Possibly each phone collects it's own data and again, the total is the sum of all phones.

When using your Data on the phone that is showing 1.91 GB of data used. Do you use any Verizon Apps like My Verizon Mobile, or VZ Navigator? If so, Verizon does Not count these towards your data usage and your phone app will show them creating a difference. As long as Verizon shows less you are OK although, if you watch your bill carefully you might see on next months bill a charge or usage total with a description of unbilled data usage for (month)

Thank you all for assisting layniebug! We are not reporting any issues with the My Verizon application. Do you currently have the Share Everything Plan? The plan reports the combined usage and the usage per line. Have you calculated all of the usage for the three lines? Do they average 1.191GB? When does your bill cycle end? It may take 2-3 days for the usage to update after the bill cycle ends. I would be happy to review your usage to better assist.
