downloading pictures to moto droid ultra, cropping pictures to get rid of background. when uploading to facebook, original photo shows w/o cropping

when i download pictures to my moto droid ultra. i crop photos. when i upload to facebook they appear un-cropped. what am i, or phone doing wrong?

Let's see how we can upload your cropped photos to Facebook!

After cropping the images on your Droid Ultra, do you see an option to "Save" or "Done"?  This should allow you to upload the cropped photos to Facebook.  Please keep me posted.
