I bought my LG Ally today and when I plugged it into my PC via USB, errors popped up informing me that the device drivers were not successfully installed.  I've searched the website for driver downloads and cannot find any,.  Can anyone help?  Thank you.

Hi.  I understand that you need help installing drivers and I will be happy to give you the steps.  What version of windows are you using?  That way I can send you the steps.

no drivers necessary...

plug into pc... your phone will chime in

pull down the window shade mount your sd card and a "open folders" window will appear if your pc is xp and above.

Drag and drop to folders.

Or use VZ manager to sync photos and music

This will mount the sd card but only if the drivers are installed.

You can download the USB Drivers from here: http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/swdata/USBSW/CDMA/EG/LGUSBModemDriver_WHQL_Eng_Ver_4.9.7_All_Win7_20100222.zip
