force closes messaging when i recieve a pic/vid msg ally

Recently whenever i recieve a pic/vid message messaging forces close after the message downloads. i did a factory reset and after a day or so same problem. any ideas?

To solve this problem you will need to make sure you are running the most up to date software. To do this you need to follow the following instructions:

• On the main screen select menu
• Select Settings
• Scroll down and select about phone
• Check the System Updates icon at the top of the screen
• Make sure the phone is up to date
