I'm sorry to hear you don't have your new pattern lock in order to unlock your device, funnyme. I can certainly understand a factory reset is not the preferred method to get back in your phone. What model device are you using? Are you seeing a prompt on your screen to unlock your device with any other method such as your Google account or backup PIN? If not, have you backed up your information with Verizon Cloud or another application in the past in case you do have to complete a factory reset?
