elisa, sorry, once you update the software, you are unable to remove it or revert back to the original software. Have you downloaded 3rd party applications to your device from Google Play market?

I had the same issue and thought I should return this new device.  After rebooting my phone, now it works.  Thanks for posting this issue and solving this ASAP.

I have the same problem.Upgraded and now the phone volume is down. Speakers work fine for music. I need a fix now!

If completely shutting down your phone for 20 minutes doesn't work , then

shut it down again and remove the battery wait 10 mins reinstall the batt

and power back up the phone . Make sure your not in the same room with the

person you call to test your device.

Power cycle does not work for me, may try a battery pull.

If the batt pull doesn't work , go to a local VZW store and discuss your

options with them . If your phone is rooted the update may create issues

other than volume .
