this is highway robbery. the recent google update issues that verizon have reported on their website and on tech coach as ongoing broke my phone. i got a replacement device and in 48 hours have had to do 15 system updates. i also had to pay $200 for my replacement phone. this is not fair.
We're sorry to hear about the issues you've been having with your device since the update. This a known issue with Google and they are working on it. You would usually only be directed to filing an insurance claim if there is physical damage, or the device is out of warranty. Did you file an insurance claim?
The issue that was caused by the update also had a fix that took a Google search to find.
Verizon doesn't charge for replacement phones, that's Asurion. Whoever at Asurion who charged a deductible for that is the one who ripped you off.
