help on galaxy s6
makilog2
Newbie

I just upgraded from s4 to s6. I have strong 4GLTE signal strength...but everytime I answer or place a call the 4GLTE drops to 1x. I NEVER had this issue on the s4. My call quality doesn't seem to be effected....so it's more a curiosity issue. Any ideas?

I do hope you're enjoying your awesome new phone, makilog2. It's actually normal for a phone to drop into 1x service while on a call if voice and data hasn't been enabled. The S6 is a bit different than the S4, as you now have Advanced Calling capabilities http://www.verizonwireless.com/wcms/consumer/advanced-calling.html. Just turn on Advanced Calling in your phone http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-151514/ and you should notice a difference in the signal change. If it continues, please let us know what zip code you are in and if you notice any change in service quality itself with the Advanced Calling on or off.
