When you have family locater, is the person notified that someone is monitering?
I believe there is a special app that needs to be installed on the phone you wish to track. So while they won't know exactly when you are checking where they are, they will know that you have the ability to 24/7.
Family locator does not do that. If you was text context you have to get a court subpoena. Text messages are private. It may be your child but it is what it is. If it's that much an issue take away the phone or block texting. Parenting is not a responsibility of cell carriers.
