how do i block a certain phone number from calling and receiving texts from that person

I am needing some information on how to block a certain number from calling in and receive text messages from them

Go to My Verizion > My Services > Verizion Family Safegaurds and Controls > Click on call and msg blocking > Fill in the numbers you want blocked .

You can block up to 5 numbers for 90 days free.
