I have a Verizon lg transpyre 4g. Somehow it got on multi-media texting...whatever that is...and I want to disable multimedia texting. I have no idea. Would someone please help this little ole lady? My battery is discharging like crazy. Thanks bunches!
We want you to always get the most out of your wireless services, sjfolsom! Multimedia Messaging Service or MMS as it is sometimes referred to as supports picture messages, group messages and messages sent to you that are more than the 160 character limit for normal text. This service is part of most messaging plans. What indication do you have that the MMS is causing the battery drain? Are you using the default Messaging app or have you downloaded a 3rd party one?
