My husband got a replacement phone and I set it all up and now for some reason all of his contacts ended up coming on my phone instead of going through and deleting one by one how can I get them off my phone

Did you sign in with his Google account?

Did he set up your phone with his Google account?  If so, remove that account and add yours.  Just a first thought.

No we tried using Verizon cloud and there was a problem with that and so I called support and they had to fix it and after they fixes it that's when I noticed his contacts on my phone

Sounds like the wrong account was imported either way.

If you are syncing your contacts to google then goto http://contacts.google.com and cleanup your contacts list there and it will push the updates to your phone.
