I have a refurbished LG G2. My original worked very well, but I left it on the hood of my car one day and drove off. When i found my phone it was a run-over mess. I have insurance so i wasn't too worried. My replacement phone sucks!. It freezes often, loses wifi and\or data connection, and I cannot utilize any gps app without it freezing. I would like to know what recourse do i have. I am away from the 14 day period and I don't know what course of action I could take to get working phone. Please help?

We want to see your second G2 working as great as your first one did, jaydlaw. Let's see if we can make that happen. Do you notice it freezing when you're accessing anything in particular aside from GPS? Do you get an error message when the WiFi or Data seem to lose connection? When it freezes, are you able to reboot by pressing and holding the power and volume down keys for about 15 seconds?

This is the OP, for some reason, I cannot log into the account that i originally created this thread. Any event. The phone performance is terrible. when moving from a wifi area to a area where i need to utilize the data plan (and vice versa), the phone acts up. I have major issues texting and issues using internet functions. I need to reboot the phone several times a day. once i reset the phone, then it begins to download a ton of updates. It is getting extremely annoying and i believe that i am missing calls. there are times where i notice that i have a message but the phone hasn't rung, regardless of ow good or bad my signal is. long story short, this refurbished phone that i received from your insurance company, more then likely has the same issues that it had prior being refurbished. I am extremely upset with the quality and performance of this phone. I know that this will be the last LG phone that i ever purchase. I would hope that can be done in regards to replacing the phone with a new one, I understand that it would need to be another LG G2 as that is what i currently have. If something cannot be done, I'll be forced to toughen it out until my contract ends, but having the best network means nothing if the quality of the equipment is substandard. I really hope that something can be done to correct this. These issues are addition to the freezing issue when using maps!
When you say reset, was that a factory data reset, or just power cycling the device?
If you performed the FDR, and this is the behavior, call VZW or go to a corporate store ad seek a replacement for the replacement...
I've haven't tried a factory reset, just power cycling. I will try it
