How do I set a ringtone on a Samsung Stratospere phone?I have purchased it from verizon but can"t figure out how to load my ringtone Please help!!!!
The basic method is to go to the Home screen, then Menu > Settings > Sound settings > Phone ringtone. If you downloaded the ringtone directly to the phone, I assume it would show up in the list. If not (if you downloaded it to your computer, for instance), be aware that ringtones and notification tones can be stored in folders with specific names on the SD card. Basically, you want to copy your downloaded tone to a folder on the SD card called "ringtones." If it's on your PC, connect the phone to the PC via USB, and use Windows Explorer to create a "ringtones" folder on the SD card and copy the ringtone there. I think (but I've never tried this myself) that the Sound settings dialog should find it and offer it as a possible phone ringtone.
