I am getting 5-7 calls from spoofed numbers, mostly claiming to be from spectrum wireless or AT&T wireless. Why can't Verizon block these calls? It is getting to the point where I am ready to leave Verizon all together. They have always been the most expensive but you used to get quality service and great customer support when you needed it. Now you just get the high prices.

Why do you even allow spoofed caller numbers to come through? Why can't you add a feature to allow me to block area code prefixes? I get almost all my spoofed calls from the same area code.
Better yet why don't the powers that be in government put an end to letting them spoof numbers with what ever devices they are using to do this. My FIL bought a device for his home phone that allowed him to block prefixes and it worked really well. Call filter plus probably works the same and if you are getting a lot of these would be worth it.

We want to do all that we can to help you control the incoming calls on your device. Caller ID spoofing is when a caller deliberately falsifies the information transmitted to your caller ID display to disguise their identity.Scammers use digital tech tools to change the display name on the caller ID, as well. As a reuslt, they can use almost anyone's phone number and name without the threat of call-backs. I apologize. At this time, we technology has not implemented a way to block those calls.
