Why does Verizon charge for a voice mail app on Android phones while the full voice mail function is available for free on the iPhone???

Are you referring to Visual Voice mail?  Check out You Mail....

The visual voicemail on the iPhone isn't the same as the visual voicemail on the other Verizon Wireless phones. For one thing, Apple handles the voicemail system for all the iPhones so the storage servers are Apple servers. The features are not the same either.

I apologize for not responding sooner. Yes, but I do not have the visual

voice mail because I don't want to pay the extra money.
