why does my 16gb android S4 running 5.0.1 .report 90.06gb for applications when I have 16.00gb total space and no mounted SD card?
I was having problems with 64 gb SD card so I removed it but I still get 90.06gb reported for applications
Also, when I select Settings > Accounts Google I get :"Unfortunately, Settings has stopped.
Sorry if a duplicate

How about clearing the cache from recovery? Do you know to do that?

I found a procedure and ran it. No change in the space reporting problem or the Settings has stopped.problem.
Note that other than reporting space problem I haven't noticed this causing other problems.
Also, I have a workaround for the Settings stopped problem. I can get at the google settings from Gallery.
While I'd like to get these fixed I don't want to go thru a complete reinstall.

Have you been able to insert a different microsd card to see if that could show the correct info? Then take that card out.

I have tried a different card of the same size and another of different size as well as no card at all - same results. I even restarted between cards.

You probably don't want to do this but you may have to do a factory reset.

Getting conflicting information can cause for concern, Marcx. We are here to help and want to learn more. Have there been any recent updates to the device such as software or applications? We can check the software by going to Settings then scrolling down to System Updates. For available application updates, we can check this by going to the Play Store. Please keep us posted.

Do you have a cloud storage account, like maybe Google Drive? Perhaps it's reporting the total to include your online storage.
