Watch for apps that are eating the data, I've seen Twitter consume a lot of bandwidth before. You might see if an app is taking a lot of battery under the battery setting. If it's taking battery, it's probably trying to stay connected.
thanks, I tried everything but it still was slow so I wiped the phone again. It seems like that was the only thing that works. If it happens again the phone is going back.
figured it out; if you have slow or no internet but it shows you are connected you can do the following....
restart in safe mode and see if you have internet if so then continue if not go to Verizon.
download ES task manager
turn off Wi-Fi
clean your phone with task manager
turn on Wi-Fi and keep your fingers crossed.
