Google files patent for creepy teddy bear | Fox 59
If it senses you’re looking at it, the fuzzy toy will rotate its head and look back at you. Once it receives and recognizes a voice command prompt, you can then tell it to control media devices in your home (e.g. turn on your music or TV).
And, IoT...Internet of Things. Is this some new fad phrase?

MY sister has the Echo, "Alexa". She times dinner, plays music on command. But with several people in the room, you have to yell Alexa to wake her up and get a response.
Its bad enough I talk to my dogs. I'm not talking to a stuffed bear.

I saw this way back when it came out. My husband tortured me with "thanks for the ride lady" for months. Still creeps me out.

I don't watch TWD because everyone else does, that and I don't do zombie-cheese. I didn't even watch SOA until after the series was over.

Zombie stuff creeps me out, can't watch at all. I cant even listen to people eating watermelon anymore.
and yet......
My 20 year old son has me hooked on iZombie on the CW. It's without the gross factor of Walking Dead, the story line is clever, the actors don't make me roll my eyes.

I run with a different demographic. There isn't much on TV for people like me. I am much more likely to find what i want on links from links within links on YouTube or DeviantArt.

FYI...if the boy makes me watch one more video about cars, I will develop permanent eye roll syndrome.
I have proof of what I am dealing with....
