If you can't remember your My Verizon sign-in details or your account has been locked, this info will help you reset your password or username so you can get back into your account.
1. Please go to the Verizon website (Verizon.com) and navigate to sign in on the top right of the page.
2. Click sign in > account overview> forget user ID or password.
To reset your user ID:
- Click forgot User ID
- Enter your email address or Mobile number
Note: If trying to reset your user id for a Fios or 5G home account please use your email to reset your username. If trying to reset the user id for a wireless account, please use your mobile number.
To reset your password:
- Click forgot password
- Enter your 10 digit mobile number or user id
- If prompted, enter the 5-digit billing ZIP code then select Continue
- Select how you want to authorize the request to change the password then select send
Note: Depending on your device and your email address, options vary. The remaining steps to complete the password reset depend on the option chosen.
- Device
If a push notification or text message is sent to your device, follow the prompts on your device to authorize the password reset and then create a new password.
- Email
If an email is sent, select the link in the email to authorize the password reset and follow the prompts to create a new password.

US MailIf you choose to have a letter sent to the billing address, follow the instructions in the letter to complete the password reset after it arrives.After completing authentication with the chosen method, you will be prompt to reset your password.
When creating a new password, please note that the password must meet the following requirements:
