Blacklisted IMEI

 Hello there,

I bought this iphone from Facebook marketplace from someone a couple of weeks back. The phone was unlocked and everything seemed good. I even contacted apple and they told me it is fit to purchase.  From a past few days I have not been getting network services, so I contacted my carrier and apple and I got to know that the seller reported it stolen or lost  and did an insurance fraud.  I am stuck with this, I did a police complaint as well but they told me only Verizon can help me with with this. I have all the chats and the payment proof that I bought this phone. I am an international student and I literally can't afford to buy another phone now. I spend every penny of my savings on the phone. Could you please help me out please!??

I will provide you the IMEI, serial number, model number of the phone, cant you catch the the guy who bought it brand new and sold it to me I have already lodged a police complaint and I am trying to do everything please help!

I am having the exact same issue. I have documented everything and have a police report. I am desperate. I paid full price for my device from a FB marketplace seller. At the time, everything checked out. Now the device shows that it has a blacklisted IMEI. Can you please help?

I bought a phone and used it for nearly 7 months and now Verizon blacklisted it.  It was unlocked and had good status when I purchased it.   They said the previous owner did not pay his bill so they blacklisted it.  I am not sure what to do but I feel like Verizon needs to go after the person who owes the debt rather than disable my phone.  I might have to contact the AG and FCC but I’m hoping Verizon can see what’s going on here and assist me.

Hi, I bought a refubrish premium phone from Amazon, it worked for a month with my carrier and then it lost signal. When I called my company they told me the phone was locked by verizon Wireless. Could you please help me?

Amazon only option is to return it but I'm not in the states and I can't return it.

pilottjavier, I'm sorry to hear that your device is currently locked. Based on what you shared if you bought from a third party and the device is showing as locked with VZ, you’ll need to reach out to the original seller you purchased from. I was told by the police that it can be fixed by verizon. please do something. I am an international student and I already spent every last saving on this phone. I am in a very bad situation. Please please do something. I can not afford to buy another phone please help. I can even provide the proof that I bought  the phone, the transaction ID, chats, even CCTV footage.

Verizon please help me in removing my device from the black list please! somebody help! I  am totally helpless. I paid the full amount of my phone and can even provide the proof of payment and everything.
