nope.  canceled it.  fool me once, shame on you.  fool me twice, shame on me.  opted to order the 64gb space grey 6+ from my local apple store instead (they have it in stock for pick up today).  faster MLC NAND in the 64gb, so I guess there's that.

I have heard and commented on on this 128g memory issue before. I have now noticed it is in some 64g models as well.

I will make this statement; I have waited for some time for my 128g iphone 6 plus. I am hoping that it has something to do this this memory issue and that my phone will have the new memory installed. People at Verizon, who we have access and communication with probably do not know anything about this, at least enough to have real information.

Have to hope for the best. Last thing I want is a late phone that is problem ridden.......Smiley Sad

Hang in there.

The memory issue is said to be rare, but some 128 (and now I guess some 64) are experiencing crashing and boot loops potentially due to the TLC NAND storage units -- apple uses MLC NAND on most of its products, and it's faster, but more expensive. The TLC is relatively new tech. Slower but cheaper.

Ios 8.1.1, which will be out soon, will supposedly try to address the issue. You can google "TLC NAND apple" for more.

well, canceled the vz 128gb 6+ order at around 10:30am and picked up the 64gb space grey 6+ from the Apple store around noon. all set up and jailbroken:)

it's awesome. you're going to love it.

Apple DOES do edge in stores! I know because it states it on their website and I talked to both a customer service rep from apple and an in store sales person.

I do not know anything about them doing edge at authorized dealers but APPLE stores CAN do edge!

Normally when entering into an Edge agreement, you pay all sales tax up front.

Yep!! I just saw the little notification when went on the website and selected my carrier, I wonder how long does it take for my edge to show back up if I cancel??? Anyone know?? I'm going to try to stick it out though if it gets extended past 11/21 i will just try to get it through Apple

i did the early edge program which when I went to the Apple Store the beginning of November and they do not do the early edge program because they will not take your old phone.  I was told by them if u are. New customer or doing the edge without early upgrade is the only way they would do it.  I do know best buy will do all types of edge program, but I can never find them to have the 128gb in stock.

Oh my GOSH I didn't even think of Best Buyyyyy!!!! I have one of those 40 minutes from here! MUCH closer than the Apple store! I bet mine is out of them all though lol.

I am not sure how long it take, lots of people have said they cancelled and their upgrade status updated right away but Verizon says it can take up to 24 hours. The 64GB 6+ is available now, so if you don't mind the lower memory you can get your phone faster...
