How do I get my contacts from my old phone to my new iPhone SE?

I would appreciate any help I can get in figuring out how to get my contacts from my old flip phone onto my iphone SE. I have the back up assistant on the old phone, and now I have the cloud. Not sure how to get them to sync or anything.

To restore your contacts:

1. Tap the Verizon Cloud icon

2. Tap the Navigation Menu (upper left)

3. Tap Tools

4. Content Restore

5. Select any of the following and then tap Restore

You MUST backup your basic phone BEFORE activating the iPhone.

If you currently use Backup Assistant or Backup Assistant Plus, all of your backed up content, including contacts, photos, music and documents, will automatically transfer when you activate Verizon Cloud.

there is no Verizon cloud icon on newphone, there are NO icons on new phone because it won't allow me past opening screen

Before you can attempt to access any app or load your information to your phone, it first needs to be activated. When a phone will not let you past the opening screen, it usually means it has not been activated yet. 

Is your phone also an iPhone SE? If so, then once you have it activated, you will need to download our Verizon Cloud app from the App Store. This is because our apps cannot come pre-loaded to Apple devices  https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/how-to-use-verizon-cloud/
