How do I recover a deleted text message conversation?

My iCloud backup got turned off so I don't have that and the last time I did an iTunes backup is too far back...I don't want to lose everything since then just to get one text message conversation.

Thank you for your help.

If the conversation wasn’t backed up as you indicated it wouldn’t be retrievable after deletion

We can certainly understand wanting to be able to retrieve your deleted information. As deloused and muyang have mentioned, if your back up was turned off during the time you received this message and during the conversation, there would be no record of the conversation if deleted. Do you use Verizon Cloud by chance?
