My callers were saying the phones went straight to voicemail. Sometimes I would have a missed call, other times I did not. Sometimes it would ring once and then go to voicemail.
After 2 customer service rep calls with no resolution, my third call was resolved.
Have the rep check the number of rings that are set before going to voicemail. For some reason, mine was set at zero. So all of my calls were going straight to voicemail. I don't know how it was setup this way. I never initiated the request.
As soon as she changed it to 8, after a soft reset, my phone started working again.
I was not getting expected calls or Voice Mails, so I called your Verizon customer service and was told all my calls were being forwarded to 605-615-0720, a number I never heard of. How is this happening and how can I keep it from happening again?
When I tried to call my fiance` and she didnt answer, my calls were sent to this number. I live in Texas and 605 area code is from South Dakota. She could call me just fine and when I called her she could answer. Its just that when she didnt answer it went to this number's voicemail and then a Verizon error message.

Has been happening to me for months. And no one leaves voicemails these days sooo
I just had this problem pop up today. Yesterday & today I did a massive cleaning of garbage stored on my Edge 7 and thought that might have been the culprit. I could receive texts and voicemail notifications, but no actual ringtones. I even went and changed my ringtone and still nothing. Finally rebooted and I think that solved my problem (for now).
did it ever get fixed? ive been troubleshooting for 5 weeks now and no fix as of yet.
