I am confused as to why people who have ordered the same iPhone 6+ as me, but later on the preorder day are receiving their tracking numbers and having the credit cards charged. I have had no activity on any fronts and I ordered the phone within the first 15 minutes of the preorder. I called CS and they told me that my estimated ship date is 10/7. i would be fine with this but my iPhone 4s decided to stop charging last week. I just figured they would fill preorders based on the time that the order was placed.

I can't get any order status at all.  Verizon Wireless Customer Support can you check my order status for me?

Just wait until your order mysteriously is canceled and a new order (that you neither authorized its cancelation or the order) appears pushing the delivery date to 11/4/14.....

Pretty sure they did that with both of mine.  Both were ordered within 20 minutes of the starting gun and by mid-day both were delayed.

That's the thing that burns me the most about this whole process.

Mistakes happen, systems hang up, I work in IT, I get it, but seriously can you not design your systems to actually reserve a phone from inventory so that you can give your reps enough time to fix the problem with the order instead of just dropping people to the end of the line?  Nobody at Verizon will admit it but that's exactly what's happened to a lot of people.  You can't tell me that someone who ordered their phone at 3:08 AM EDT didn't get bumped to the back of the line when you see reports of others who ordered at 3:30 AM EDT, getting shipping notices for the same exact model!

And yeah, yeah, I know, first world problem.  🙂

Maybe they are giving new customers priority because I just placed my pre-order yesterday on Monday 9/15/14 and verizon just sent me an email stating I will be receiving my 2 phones on friday. Well I just checked they just charged my credit card for the full amount of the phones. I am becoming a new customer with Verizon.

Wow, you must be really lucky.

When I called last Sat. the rep told me people who ordered Sat.

would get phones mid Oct.

Each color seems to have its own shipping date. This could be because of supply or popularity.

The same thing happened to me. In my case, I finished my pre order at around 3:15am est for the iPhone 6+ 64gb space gray. MY confirmation was 10/7. Two co workers ordered after 6am est and received 9/19 confirmation.

Verizon totally got this whole pre order system wrong and no one is owning up to it. Each rep you talk to has a lengthy BS excuse.

I'm waiting with you. I ordered iPhone 6 Plus 128 GB in Silver and my estimated ship date has changed from 10/14 to 10/10. It seems that's one of the more popular choices or the one they didn't order enough of.

Verizon preorders is being whatever. I preordered my 6 Plus on 9/12 and it hasn't shipped yet. I know someone who preordered their 6 Plus on T-Mobile on 9/17 and they got their phone shipped today. I'd say, that's unfair.

Yeah i also pre ordered on the 12th & never got a tracking when other people who pre ordered AFTER the 12th having theirs shipped and coming before us. That is not fair because we preordered first. it should be based on when people preorder it. idk why my order status kept saying that they're experiencing system issues & telling me to try again "later", that has been there for the longest, I did confirm with Verizon that my order IS there.. But the shipping is just being ridiculous. why do we have to wait longer than the ones who pre order after us. idk what's with Verizon

Yeah, I'm right there with ya! I preordered 2 Plus's a 128 gb GOLD one at 6am on the 12th and the other a 64 gb space gray at 6pm on the 12th. The gold ship date was 10/14 and the gray was 10/28. For the last 3 days the system has been having issues, even the contact us link wouldn't work for a while. Finally my order is showing up, with new shipping dates of 10/10 and 10/24 but thats still crazy when AT&T shipped everyone their phones on the 19th even those with mid october ship dates, I can't help but think that should move all of our shipping dates up. If thousands, maybe millions, went out early wouldn't that release of bunch of phones that were technically reserved? IDK how that works I guess but I was hoping I would get mine early too. I think it's crazy to order in the first 6 hours its on sale and have to wait over a month. I could understand the 6 pm one being that late. I got up at midnight and tried to order, but the system was having issues and I got frustrated and went back to bed and got back up at 6 and this is what I end up with, come on Verizon, do something!

OK  So my card was charged yesterday and my pre-order # changed to an order # and now my order history actually shows what I ordered now. But no tracking #'s, anyone have any idea how long it will take to get a tracking number from this point. Or how long it would take to get the actual phone based on everyone else's experiences? probably no sense asking that as everyone probably drops off here once they get their phone. lol

My card was charged 9/25 around 6pm.  My tracking #'s showed up in my email around 4am 9/27.  Scheduled for a 9/30 delivery.

My order was scheduled foe 10/14, then changed to 10/10 and toady I got a tracking number for 9/30 delivery.  Not the 19th, but better than waiting 10 more days.

My thoughts exactly. I got up at 3am on the 12th & couldn't get the dang site to work so after bout 30 mins I sd screw it & went back to bed, I have a public job and can't sit up all night trying to do this. So at 6 am when my alarm went off again, I ordered the 6+ 128gb in gold. Got a 10/14 delivary date. That evening my husband decided he wanted the space gray, so at 6pm I ordered a 2nd phone 6+ 64gb space gray with a delivary date of 10/28. A few days ago the gold changed to 10/10 & the gray to 10/24. The. Out of the blue yesterday afternoon they charged my card for the gold & my preorder # changed to an order # then this morning around 11 am I got an email with my tracking # & delivary date of 9/30. Really hoping it comes Monday instead of Tuesday just because I'm off on Mondays & have to work on Tuesday. 😞

My last post on here, just to give u guys the information I have if u r still waiting. I got my first one today. Ordered at 6am on the 12th with an original ship date of 10/14. Just checked my other one that had a 10/28 ship date & it just converted over to an order # & is now showing the actual item I ordered in the order history. That's the same thing the one I recieved today did the night b4 I got the tracking information so it should ship out tomorrow. We'll see but there's hope fellas. That second one was ordered at 6pm on the 12 & looks like it's gonna come over 20 days early.
