If you are one of the lucky ones who have already received shipping and tracking info post your order location here my order location is W779001 which is in California but I have yet to receive any shipping or tracking info my order says it has been sent to processing with delivery of 9/21.

Finally got my tracking email this morning at 3:47AM PDT while I was asleep. Phone is getting here Friday before 3:00PM. I'm in LA in the W779001 delivery zone. Yay!

I am also from So Cal. I only had my credit card charged last night around 9:30pm but still as of now no tracking number info. The order status website did change but the carrier and tracking numbers are still left blank.

Well, my credit card was charged sometime yesterday and I got the message early this morning, so you might get your shipping email sometime late this evening or early tomorrow morning if the pattern holds. Another poster who had his card charged Monday got his email the next morning at about the same time as I got mine, so maybe there's a pattern here.

Did you order any accessories with your iphone 5 or just the iphone? I ordered two iphones, the first I ordered with accessories and received the shipping email this morning the second iphone I order without accessories and received the shipping email yesterday morning.

A bit silly, IMO. I'm in PA. Why did it move laterally to NJ, only to have to come back over the bridge for delivery?

Just to update people in the north, now they are processing location from N211401 to N211601, so whoever ordered iPhones I early hours should get updates now. If not look at your credit card charge. Once you are charged, it will ship. You can also look it up in your my Verizon receipts if you are already a VZ customer.

I actually just realized something...it literally drove right past me in transit to Elizabeth, NJ. And the distance between me and my phone increased with this new location, as it was MILES closer when it sat in Coatesville. ARGH! I almost wish detailed tracking wasn't an option!!!

Just think when we didn't have this technology.......I think people should not be so uptight and worried. While it may not make sense to us why FedEx is moving packages in all sorts of directions it does make sense to them in the fact that it's much better to ship all phone from a few distribution centers instead of many. They are better able to account for all packagaes and ensure they reach destination together. It may cost a little more and be more hassle to them but I am sure Apple and FedEx/UPS, etc have really good agreement terms for all the work the shipper is going through to make as few phones as possible delivered early and as many orders as possible reach their delivery destination by the time promised by Apple and all the carriers.

Appears FedEx is warming up the herd prepping to release their ponies! My status tracking changed at 3:27am and is now "Shipment information sent to FedEx" and a Reference # has been noted next to delivery type. Looking forward to my truck making a safe trip from Elizabethtown (NJ) for delivery tomorrow!
