I just updated my MacAir with Monterey 12.0.1. My Messages + app now is not working. Any HELP from Verizon would be appreciated.

I found this in another thread. This worked for me...
I was able to get it working on macOS Monterey (12.0.1) by changing this setting:
Security & Privacy -> Privacy -> Contacts: Uncheck "Message+"
You lose the contacts sync but other than that it functions.

Easy fix if you know where to go. I currently have 12.2.1 installed and this still applies.
Navigate to Security & Privacy -> Privacy -> Contacts
Uncheck "Message+"
Contacts won't sync, but you can read and respond to messages.

I'm having the same problem. As soon as I upgraded to Monterey, my Message+ stopped working.
ON EDIT: The solution SECURITY AND PRIVACY ---> PRIVACY ---> CONTACTS ---> Uncheck "Message+" worked for me and now I can use it.
Thanks!

I don't understand why this is still a problem.

ejayj, I rely on messages to stay connected, so I know how important it is for the service to work on the macOS. We are here to assist. There have been some suggestions in the thread that have worked for some users. To clarify, are you still experiencing a problem with the app not opening at all?
