I feel like I have been misled from the very beginning of the purchase of my new phones. I received multiple emails touting a free phone if I upgraded to the 13 followed by more emails offering up to an $800 credit. The sales rep said there was a $700 credit promo but since the 2 phones I upgraded weren't fully paid off it might only be a $440 credit. Although I did have to pay off the remaining 2 payments at the store at the time of purchase. The sales rep also told me that my per line price would remain the same which was appx. $45 per line. Now when I saw my billing email it said I was going to pay $80 per line & you are only giving me a $219.96 credit spread out over 36 months. I don't care one iota about $6.11 per month. Hardly seems worth it. I am beyond amazed that Verizon is so misleading & deceptive.

We don't want you to feel this way, GeorgeU1. I'd like to help as much as possible and see what options are available. When were the phones purchased? Have you had a chance to review the current plan you are on and if there is an option to change without losing the promotional amount? Looking forward to hearing back.

The phones were purchased on Tuesday. I have packaged up but not sent my iPhone 11's back yet because I am looking at deals from other carriers, which right now are looking better than what I have now.

Also I have 2 other phones on my account. I have been with Verizon for my entire life. Might be time to take my 4 lines elsewhere. Of course, now I'm apprehensive because apparently things aren't always as they seam.

Chris, got it.
My plan went from $45 per line to $80 per line & my $700 credit per phone became $219.96 spread out over 36 months so it's $6.11 per month. Not what I was told or what was advertised.

Yup, their “$1900 on us” ad going on right now, December, is very deceiving and misleading as well. I’m not getting a new phone for a loooong time and may consider switching to a different provider.

In your ads you say that new phones are “on us”. That’s a lie. We pay full price for the phones over time. “On us” is misleading at best. AT&T does the same thing. You say you’re concerned but you’re only concerned because you’re being called out for deceptive ads. I’ve also talked to reps about poor service in my area over the last four years , which has been reported by local TV news. Verizon reps recommended upgrades that costed more which I did once and didn’t work. I won’t make the same mistake. Even after tv news story Verizon has done nothing to improve service. Being concerned seems to be a company line that makes it sound like they care when they really don’t. The only reason I still have Verizon is because we have no other viable options and Verizon knows that so they do nothing.

I have the similar issue, and I have contacted Verizon Customer Service a couple of times and nothing gets resolve. I upgraded my line and the advisements stated I was going to get 1000.00 in credits for 36 months and I been getting only 800.00. Another issue is that my educational discount is not been applied to my account after I have verify it multiple times, the last time I verify it was with a Verizon agent on the line.
Fix this.

mrjbaires, We know how important it is to receive all of the eligible offers for your account. Do you recall any details of the promotion so that we can ensure we are reviewing the correct promotion details? Did it require a trade in? You also shared you are missing your educational discount, is this discount for being a teacher or being a student enrolled in a U.S. secondary educational institution.
