Nationally (tv) advertised $800 trade in for new iphone 13 false advertising

After weeks of seeing the verizon ads on national tv for an $800 trade in to purchase the iphone 13 (May/June 22) we confirmed 2 WORKING phones on our account would qualify and made the trade. Now 5 months later we are still trying to get Verizon to live up to their advertising. It's the deny, defer, delay tactic. Today I was on transferred to SIX reps over 30 minutes and then finally spent 2 1/2 hours - yes 2 1/2 hours - on a call with a rep in customer care. Care, what care??? Most of it on hold for a manager to see what the issue is with the missing trade in credits. THREE times the call was disconnected and the rep called me back, only to continue to wait for a manager.

Verizon if this is what you call customer service try again. Customer experience? try again. After years with Verizon I'm ready to move on. Employees have no decision making authority and only transfer you onto someone else- if you are lucky. Otherwise they just leave you on hold until you give up and hang up.

Verizon want to make it right? Follow through on what you advertise. Follow up!

On Jan 11, I received  a notification for a free upgrade to an iPhone 13 with a qualifying trade in.  I confirmed my iPhone 8 was qualified.  As soon as I received the new phone I started having problems. I saw on the invoice that I was being billed almost $20 a month for the next 36 months! I don't know about anyone else but that's not free!! And they only gave me $100.00 on my old phone!  Then you would think going from 4G to 5G the service would be better but it's not!! I absolutely hate this phone, 95% of the time I only have 1-2 bars! My calls are dropped or the caller on the other end say they are only catching  a few words when I'm talking to them.  I want to cancel my account and go elsewhere but they have me in this stupid contract with this new phone that I wasn't even supposed to have in the first place! I have call so many times in the past 5 months and even gone into the Verizon store and the phone doesn't work any better!

Not Happy and want to cancel service! I will even send you back this iPhone so you can sell it to some one else!
