New Apple Watch Series 3 - activate?

My daughter received a new Applie Watch Series 3 GPS + Data today Christmas. She has activated. Now she needs to get on our Verizon Wireless plan and add her phone to use our data. She has activated the phone no problem. When she tries to get on our plan it only uses her phone number (our plan is under my phone number). The phone number area is grayed out and won't let her change it.

Reread the email. It says at the top of the email, "A message from the Verizon Wireless Community". It has hyperlinks for you to view the full discussion, to go to the message on the Verizon Community, and to adjust your email preferences by visiting your profile.

Exact same issue here. Setting up cellular service for AW 3. The initial Sign In screen to My Verizon (sample screen below) - does not allow the Account Owner number to be entered.
The Set Up Cell Service instructions (link below) state - enter username for Account Owner or Account Manager. This can not be done, as the text box does not allow for any input. https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-215386/

How did she initially activate the watch? Is she on her own plan?
Generally speaking if her phone number needs to be moved onto your plan you will have to call in to do that. Here are the steps to activate the watch. Once you pair it to a device it will attach to that line for sharing purposes.
