Ok guys this thread is strictly for Jet Black models so that we may track cards being charged and shipping movement if any for launch day. We can also cross reference our confirmation email shipping dates!

I have been checking other forums for Verizon pre orders and I have yet to see any movement on Jet Black units and am now starting to get worried lol. Lets hope those are just last to process to ship!

My iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Jet Black is SHIPPING. I received an email confirmation from Verizon on Friday with the tracking number included. My credit was not charged until today (Monday). The estimated delivery is Tuesday (tomorrow). I pre-ordered on 9/9 as soon as the website opened up. (Around 3:25 EST)

My husband ordered the iPhone 7 plus 128 GB in Jet Black - we got charged yesterday evening and his phone and mine are supposed to ship out today and we should receive it in 2 business days. I haven't received any tracking information yet but I hope to get it sometime today!!

I too am in the same place you are Cjohnson45. I ordered my JB 128gig IPhone 7 Plus on Sept. 14th and my delivery date has not changed one bit. My ship date is still Nov. 23rd. I check everyday and nothing. I even check my cc to see if I had been charged yet....crickets. I truly think Apple should come out with some sort of explanation as to why production is being delayed, if that is really the issue, or were they just not prepared.

someone had said since apple released them in India it's gonna be even longer for us. Idk hard to tell. If I lived close to an Apple Store I'd just go get one

I haven't seen any jet black at the stores yet. I ordered a 256 JB on 9/16 with a delivery date of "November". That's all it said. I read comments about the show of prints and smears. I canceled and ordered matte black on 9/22 with a delivery of 10/17. Something told me to check stock at the stores and on 9/26 the store 12 minutes from my office had the 256 MB. I took an early lunch and grab it and canceled my order. But every time I check the stores none have been showing the JB. There is something going on with that unfortunately. I hit it lucky as they haven't had the 256 MB any more either. Good luck. I love this phone.

I hope that is not true Cjohnson. When I check istocknow.com there is not a JB 128gb anywhere in the states.

Same here. I hope we get it sooner. I read an article from an online tech magazine two weeks ago that stated they felt the back orders of iPhones should be cleared up by the middle of Oct or so. I'm hoping that is correct. The article went on to mention that part of the reason for the back log of orders is due to Apple releasing the phone to more countries earlier then in passed years. So Apple should have known that a large back order of their popular product would have to be ramped up in production. We shall see how this plays out. I haven't heard much of anything the last couple weeks indicating any sign of change to the back orders.

This is insane. preordered Jet Black 128 GB 7 Plus at 1010 Central time on 9/9 at the verizon store. No movement, card hasnt been charged, and shipping shown as 11/16/2016. I've contacted support multiple times with no luck in doing anything to speed it up.
