Shipping address invalid?

WTH?  It says shipping address invalid.  Its the same as the billing address that THEY entered for me!  It won't let me continue!

did it to me too...I had to ship to my mother in laws...her adressed worked for some reason

Got a family member or close neighbor? Use theirs, call them tomorrow tell them that it was an emergency. they'll understand.

won't take my mom's address.....and I tried ship to business and it tells me to enter a company name and there is no line for company name.   This sucks.

Try a different browser.  That did the trick for me.  I was using Firefox, but it worked with Safari.

That's what my problem was!  I was getting really frustrated, so tried switching browsers, and now I'm getting an iPhone!  Thank you!

I had the same problems, so I went to apple.com and ordered mine for 50.00 less no problems

Had same problem. Used Chrome and it worked. Of course there's no actual human support from Verizon to help with the problem. You would think they would have debugged this process through the usuall browsers!?!?!?

I'll be absolutely stunned if they are able to pull off the introduction of the iphone without huge issues if they can't even pull off the ordering process...

Very frustrating wished I would haver even tried to preorder has been a complete waste of time!!  Tried internet explorer and google chrome both and continue to get the invalid address or shipment address invalid!!!! Very very frustrating!!  I can get anything FedEXed to my house with the same address but not with there system!!!

I feel your pain, I'm exhausted - I want to go to bed and now I can't get the shipping address to work.  I've tried multiple addresses and none of them are working.  I want to cry

Well...i tried soething. It wouldnt work in Safari either.  However, on the 2nd try of using my business adresss as a residential it went through. I halfway know the delivery guys for my place of employment...so fingers crossed.

I've tried Firefox, Chrome, and Safari to no avail. I'm trying to get this for my mother as a gift. I was going to order directly from apple, but I have no idea if they will honor her "New Every 2" $50 credit. This is very frustrating.

I have Safari and had a similar problem with the shipping address.  I wanted it shipped to a business, but there was no field to enter a Business Name.  Huh?!  When I tried to submit the order, it kept giving me an error message.  So, I switched the selection to Residence and entered my work address instead - work and home are in the same city.  There was an additional problem with my residential address, but that's a long story...  Sigh.  So, will be calling VZW tomorrow to clear things up.  I still haven't received an email confirmation.

Did the same thing shipped to to where I work and left it as residence and changed my service address to that to get it to FINALLy work.

Thanks for all of your suggestions.  I also received the same error.  I finally went and ordered it through Apple.  It cost me $50 more, but I won't be in a two-year contract (I hope).

Tried ordering through apple.com but the shipping address was wrong and wouldnt let me change it.

used google chrome and worked great.

Just placed the order using Google Chrome ~ try that.

I had the same problem so I went to www.apple.com and order the phone and paid $50 less!
