Something's I noticed with iPhone

First thing I noticed is that if someone calls me while I am watching a Netflix movie on my iphone4 it does not interrupt the movie. Only interrupts if a message is left then it gives the option to see the message or not.
Second. There is no way to block unwanted calls or text messages.
I did download a silent ringtone and attached that to the number I do not want to hear from. But I have not figured out how to block unwanted text messages. The unwanted text messages is the most annoying to me because I do not text and do not want to be paying for messages.

If you don't text you can try calling Verizon and having the text feature blocked all together. I'm not sure if this is also something not available for the iPhone but in general this is something you should be able to do. Especially since you state that you do not text and don't want to be charged. As far as blocked calls...this has been discussed for awhile. Right now, it is not an option from the way things appear. Not sure about the Netflix thing since I don't use that feature on my phone. If you are using 3G at the time of viewing this may be the reason that the call does not come through.

unfortunately adolf jobs won't allow feature's that were on some of the first cell phones made. It's so awesome that I have to check my phone every 3 minutes to make sure that I did not miss a phone call since it will not remind you. But OMG, it will remind you if you missed a txt mssg.

I get the purpose of your sarcasm but seriously...if you're checking your phone "every 3 minutes" wouldn't it be safe to assume your phone is near you most of the time? Wouldn't you be aware that you missed a call (vibrated...heard the ringtone? Saw it lit up?). I think others might have discussed this possibility before but if it's that big of a deal to you there might be a app out there that makes your phone do something to alert you to missed calls in a better manner. Otherwise...you should have already known that the iPhone doesn't have a native LED indicator like many other phones do. If enough people report it and complain MAYBE an iOS update can create something to appease those wanting this. Just a thought....

One could always put in an enhancement request. This was the only reason MMS and cut/copy/paste came to the iPhone as enough people requested the feature.

My first Kudos! Thanks. You know I was a little disagreeable (and boisterous!) with Apple (and Verizon) at the iOS 4.3 thing when I first joined the forum. But I've learned that working with everybody to help everybody understand the issues and what's within our control and what's not is the best way to go. So now I'm with the you and projecting the voice of reason to the masses!
