Thread for iPhone 7+ preorders PAST 9/9 and estimated shipping/delivery dates AFTER 9/28

So, the other threads are nice to see how things are progressing for those who preordered on the first day (9/9). And its cool to see those people who are already getting their phones.   But I feel like the rest of the us "latey late" orderers are getting lost in the discussions because we have a bit more of a wait. So, I wanted to create a discussion for the rest of us so that once the ball gets rolling for us, we can kind of see how things go in terms of changed dates hopefully for the better and maybe earlier shipping dates.

So, if anyone else is interested this space can be for people who preordered 7 pluses AFTER the first day and who are still in the processing stage and have delivery/shipping dates PAST the 9/28 (which seems to be the latest date for 9/9 orders) date. Anyone not ordering the plus but just the 7 is also welcome to post here, but I just know that the debacle with pluses seems to be a bit more a concern for some people so I wanted to have a space for people to share here. But anyone is welcome to post.

No I personally haven't heard of anyone getting a plus in store at either place. Tried myself yesterday at Verizon (knowing I wouldn't but juuuust in case).

I had the same ship date (10/5) on my confirmation email.  But I got an email this morning that my phone shipped.  They charged my card last night so I figured I would see some changes to my account soon.

I ordered the the 7+ 128gb, Jet black.

So excited that it is finally on the way.

Me too! Original ship date of 10/5 for the 32gb 7+ matte black, and I got an email this morning with my tracking number, phone will be here Tuesday!

I ordered mine on 9/9 and just got the email that it shipped today.  There were plenty of folks who ordered (same phone) after me and got it before.    There has been a lot of movement of people with 10/5 ship dates today and yesterday on here... hopefully you'll get your email soon as well.  Don't be anxious or suspicious Vizo...

Those of you trading in a device to get the $650 credit. At what point did you guys receive your box to send in the old phone? Did you get it before your new phone arrived or did you get it after? I was told I would receive the trade-in box right away but I haven't got it yet. I ordered 9/12 over the phone. Customer support is saying that I have to get the new phones first, activate them and have them re-appraised online before the boxes are sent out for trade-in. However, I made an order on 9/9 online that I cancelled on 9/10 but received that trade-in box within a day or two. Customer support says the process is different for online vs phone orders. Doesn't make much sense to me.

I upgraded online 9/9 and got the trade-in box four days later. That doesn't make any sense that they would have two different ways of doing the same thing. Not that it really matters because I can't send my phone in until I get my 7. It's great to see everyone else getting confirmations and cards charged but it also makes me sad that so many who ordered close to a week after I did are already having theirs shipped. I just hope my time will come on Monday.

I got mine before delivery (they sent 5 boxes!!!). When I got my boxes I also got a notice that my phone would be delivered (yesterday), so I waited until I received it. Sending my 6 plus back tomorrow. btw, I originally wanted to trade in a 5s for $400 (amazing deal, which is why I decided to buy through verizon). I changed my mind (long story) and decided to send my 6 plus back instead. I'll post later when the savings in my monthly bill shows up, but the Verizon rep was SUPER helpful. I was able to easily switch my trade-in ($650 for the 6 plus) and also was able to use a box already sent. Other great news is that I didn't expect my new 7 plus black matte phone, 256 gb until Oct 19. I'm pretty pleased so far!

Did you order over the phone, online or in store? And how long before your new phones arrived did you receive your trade-in boxes? I thought my order may have finally started moving since I noticed it change from a Pre-Order Number with an Expected Ship Date to an Order Number with no Expected Ship Date. This morning, however, it's again showing just a Pre-Order Number.

Well I just left my local Apple Store with my iPhone 7 plus in hand. The store was packed but I was only there for maybe 15minutes and I was out the door. An Apple rep told me that they're receiving their shipments a bit faster than the actual service providers. Also, you have to keep checking your Apple website. When the stores have less than 10 units left they show unavailable on the website, but still may have them in stock at your local store. hope this helps. Good luck!

Expected ship date: 3 different answers lol. 9/28 on one phone 11/6 and 11/16.

I went in store after switching carrier's and my husband wanted the new iPhone. Had a brain fart and didn't realize the launch was way earlier. I wanted to switch back to iPhone so I have been okay with the wait but am antsy at the same time. Anyways I ordered our phones together in store and only 1 phone processed so I caught it and went back the next day. Anyways our dates for the most part look like 11/16 unless everyone else starts moving along.

My card was just charged, and my order status listed 9/24 as the shipping date!  Looks like I'll have my matte black 256GB plus sooner than anticipated!  I ordered on 9/15 online through Verizon.

I ordered my 7+ 256gb Matte Black on 9/16, expected ship date id 10/5 but they took the money out of my account 9/24 and they said it will be here within 2 business days. On the order status it still says pending even though it is on the way.

Still haven't received tracking info.
