Thread for iPhone 7+ preorders PAST 9/9 and estimated shipping/delivery dates AFTER 9/28

So, the other threads are nice to see how things are progressing for those who preordered on the first day (9/9). And its cool to see those people who are already getting their phones.   But I feel like the rest of the us "latey late" orderers are getting lost in the discussions because we have a bit more of a wait. So, I wanted to create a discussion for the rest of us so that once the ball gets rolling for us, we can kind of see how things go in terms of changed dates hopefully for the better and maybe earlier shipping dates.

So, if anyone else is interested this space can be for people who preordered 7 pluses AFTER the first day and who are still in the processing stage and have delivery/shipping dates PAST the 9/28 (which seems to be the latest date for 9/9 orders) date. Anyone not ordering the plus but just the 7 is also welcome to post here, but I just know that the debacle with pluses seems to be a bit more a concern for some people so I wanted to have a space for people to share here. But anyone is welcome to post.

No I personally haven't heard of anyone getting a plus in store at either place. Tried myself yesterday at Verizon (knowing I wouldn't but juuuust in case).

Last night I received a text for the Matte Black 7+ Saying the order has been received and i will receive tracking information when it comes available.

Still no update on the Rose Gold

Ok so my order is now showing my phone as being shipped.  It was shipped through UPS and I have a tracking number but no info is available right now.  The only info it says is UPS Ground1 any idea on when I should expect it?  Or how long does it take UPS to update its shipping info.... I really wish it was shipped fedex.

Usually it takes about 4-7 days to be delivered through UPS Ground

The 256GB model is the way to go if you don't want to wait 3 to 5 weeks for your device! Excluding JB color

Yes cause I have the same expected date 11/23 matte blk 128 Verizon .

I'm thinking verizon is getting all the October dates out the way first and then they will Concentrate on the November preorders then maybe maybe not, we should start seeing some rhythm say around 10/26 the last known preorder date for October roughly within 3 weeks

For those of you who have placed an order and later cancelled, when you log in and view My Verizon and go to My Orders does it show your cancelled order as Processing? Mine does. Customer Support assures me that my cancelled order is indeed cancelled and I have only one active order. But I can't help but wonder if this somehow holding up my delivery.

Yup sure does show up I've cancelled 2 times and both of my cancellations show up as processing !!!

Optional: I'm hoping for a sooner shipping date after seeing a lot of these posts with their shipping date being moved up almost a month. I have faith because the box to trade in my phone was delivered a week ago but the order status still says Processing. Fingers crossed! I'm getting anxious, but I know what I signed up for.

I honestly don't know if you'll get it that early. I ordered 2 IPhone 7 Plus's on September 12th (one 32 GB and one 128 GB) and my expected ship date is October 12th and they still haven't shipped. So it doesn;t look like mine are coming early, and if they are, only a few days early.

I'm just trying to make sense of this whole process. I ordered 4 iPhone 7s over the phone and plan to trade-in our 4 old iPhones. I haven't received any trade-in boxes yet. One of the Support Reps mentioned the trade-in process is different for orders placed over the phone vs online. They said if an order is placed online the trade-in box is sent right away. If the order is made over the phone the boxes aren't sent out until the new phones arrive. I don't know if I buy that. It just doesn't make any sense. I'm afraid I won't get the full $650 trade-in credit now since the promotion has ended.

The 256 models are definitely more readily available. I ordered a matte black 7+ 256 at a Verizon store on Sunday (the 2nd), late afternoon, and I received shipping notification late last night. Only took one business day. So if you're ok with spending an extra $100 and want your phones quick I suggest switching over to the 256 size. It comes out to only $4.17 more a month.

I have two other orders still processing, ordered over the phone on 9/14 with estimated ship date of 10/12 (7+ 128 rose gold) & 10/19 (7+ 128 matte black). I'm hoping to get our phones before our trip next week.

Doesn't seem like there are any movements for Rose Golds

I was told by a phone rep purchase date is what qualifies you for the promo so as long as your order came in before the promo ended your good. He said once I received the phone I could do the tradein then on the website. So that is what I was told and if I don't get my credit you can bet I will call and complain. I ordered late on 09/10 rose gold and matte black both at 128gb. I have not gotten any updates at all and not seen a charge on my card. I am annoyed since I have seen people get phones at Best Buy with Verizon much sooner who ordered after me. Also apple store upgrade people seem to be getting priority as well. I didn't order from Best Buy since I was afraid I wouldnt get the 650 promo (I couldn't get a clear answer from this from Verizon or Best Buy so thought best not to chance it). My scheduled delivery date is 10/12 but at this rate I am kind of doubting it unfortunately.
