My phone is currently eligible to upgrade for the iPhone 11, but I still have a remaining balance on my plan. Am I able to give someone else on my plan my iPhone 8 Plus, and them take over the monthly payments until it is paid off? The only options I am seeing are to trade my iPhone 8 Plus in, or to pay the remaining balance off in full. Any kind of help would be appreciated.
The answer is yes. I am doing this and was told you can add a remaining “pay back” balance on another line. You can order the phone as an upgrade on another line and then move them around when the phone arrives.
