How long does it take to get tracking info after your card is charged?

When I noticed my card charged it was not long after I saw the tracking info. I saw the tracking info on the Verizon website before I got the email.

It was a good 12 hours after my card was charged before I received a tracking email from Verizon. I actually received a tracking email from FedEx first, because I'm signed up for FedEx Ship manager. a trick you can try is using your location code and and order number(Not preorder number) to track by reference on the FedEx site. the formula is Location Code_00Order Number. ex: xxxxxxx_00xxxxxxx. This will only work after FedEx has picked up the package. I was able to track this way about 8 hours after my card was charged.

My ship date has gone from 10/5 to 11/2 for my 7+ 128 JB, preordered during the first hour. I got an earlier reply from Customer Support that "we want you to be happy." Well at this point, I'm NOT. I'm tempted to just cancel the order and forget it. But I may just wait it out. This whole preorder business has left a bad feeling with me toward both Verizon and Apple, and I've been an Apple user since the company began.

I ordered my iPhone 7 Plus 256GB in Jet Black on 09/09 and received confirmation from Verizon at 3:16am EDT. Delivery date was 09/28. I checked the status multiple times per day and the status suddenly changed from "processing" to "shipped" and I received a confirmation email today, 09/17 at 9:11am, that it has been shipped and will be delivered on 09/20. The FedEx tracking number also shows a delivery date of 09/20. So, the Jet Blacks are starting to see movement.

still no change on my end. no charge and still says processing with an expected ship date of 9/23. kind of frustrating as i know p of a few people who ordered their phones on 9/10 and got their phones on friday. everything should have been first come, first serve, and once their original amount sold out then they should go to people in order of what time they were ordered. this is my first time pre ordering a phone and based on my experience it will be my last. its very frustrating getting up early to pre order a phone only to be told that you'll get it a week later, and then start seeing other people who ordered it later than you get it before you did.

128gb jet black 7 plus. I got my order confirmation at 1:26am mt time on 9/9. Original deliver date of 10/5 now it's pushed back another week. Thinking of canceling the order. Other people I know who preordered hours after me already have the same phone I ordered

I ordered the same phone (JB 128 Plus), had an email saying Deliver by: 10/5. But the website says 10/26. So I have no idea when to expect it, but if it isnt here on the 5th, I'm going to be one angry customer.
Not to mention I waited 8 hours for the verizon store to open on the 16th only to find out they had NO pluses at all. But when i went in the day before, they said they would have some of every model and to get there early. I was the very first one in line.
Was also on Verizon.com at exactly 3:00am est, but couldn't get the site to work for 15 minutes. So so so so annoying and frustrating. Apple and Verizon really f*cked up on this one. Ordered within the first 30 min and have to wait 2 months to get my phone? Ridiculous.

I got the exact same phone at literally the exact same time as you with an email confirmation with the 5th and now it says the 26th. I'm hoping that the times speed up. Ive had that happen in other preorders. But who knows. Best of luck!!

Well I am having the same issue. My phone ship date has been pushed back twice. I have lost hope. No one at verizon knows why the order was even pushed back in the first place being that I was one of the first to order. I am very disappointed in Verizon. I used to be so proud.
