What should I do if I forget my password?

I changed my password on my 6s iphone and now it is disabled.  I put the password in that I changed to but it will not open my phone.  Is there anything I can do?

Wait a bit and then see if phone lets you reenter the new pass-code. If you cannot get in with what you think the pass-code is, or the phone just stays in disabled mode, you will have no choice but to erase the phone and start over - you do have a back up I hope.
