When my phone is in "sleep" mode, I get no alerts or rings. My calls go directly to voicemail. What do I have set up wrong???

Go into the Privacy Settings and make sure it is not switched on. If it is on then turn it off.
See if that corrects your problem.

Are you talking about Location Services listed under Privacy? If so that didn't work.

I don't even see Do Not Disturb under privacy. Just location services, contacts, calendars, reminders, photos, Bluetooth sharing, microphone, twitter, Facebook and advertising.

Did you look at the photos from my screen shots?
It is not under privacy it is all by its lonesome in Settings.
You do have iOS 7.1 ??
