Verizon says this: To activate Wi-Fi Calling, you must be connected to the Verizon Wireless data network .
Is this "activation" just to turn on Wifi Calling for the first time? After it has been activated, can I turn it off and back on when I'm not in the Verizon network? - like on a cruise ship or a foreign country?
