Will the Verizon iPhone 4S allow web surfing while on a voice call?
This was not possible on the Verizon iPhone 4, while it was posible on the ATT iPhone 4.
In the same vein, will the Verizon iPhone 4S allow voice calls when using the phone as a mobile hot-spot?
Any reasonable answers will be appreciated.

And indeed this question has been asked many times in this forum and elsewhere on the web so I'm not sure how many articles/reviews/forums you have read. CNET for example:

marks VZ and Sprint down for not allowing this while AT&T does.
Now, the only wrinkle is that the Thunderbolt does allow this on VZ on 3G (the only Verizon phone that does) so it would be just possible that the iPhone 4S would too, but the assumption is that VZ would have made this a big selling point (they didn't splash this widely for the Thunderbolt, but that was a VZ exclusive)
Not on the Verizon 3G network. If you want to talk'n'surf the same time on Verizon, you are going to need the 4GLTE network. I am using the Thunderbolt and, yes, I can talk and surf the same time. Well, just want to say, can't wait to get my hands on the iPhone 4S. Don't really care much about talk n surf, because I rarely use it.

I don't know if you have tried it, but your thunderbolt can talk and surf on 3G, no 4G LTE needed. But that is the only phone on VZ currently that does it.
I can web surf while talking with my Samsung Droid Charge..

...while using LTE or Wifi. Thunderbolt does it over 3G also.
