You can only "buy" ringtones from iTunes on your computer or on the phone.

You can cutdown and rename any .mp4 to .m4r to create a ringtone and send it to your phone via iTunes on your computer.

Pretty sure you can only set up ring back tones on the Verizon website.

You can buy ring backs on vzw.com and ringtones. Also you can buy ringtones on iTunes. You can also get a free app so you can make your own ringtones with any music you have on your iPhone even if you didn't buy it on itunes. I have one and it's great.

I use full songs and pick up to 30-40 seconds to make a ringtone.

Scroll to the top of the screen and click on "buy more ringtones".

            am I reading this right, but if you purchase a ringtone, you have to pay a monthly fee for it, plus Verizon can give out your number to others for texts? I don't text, & sure not gonna pay for ad that texts me.  Thanks

Peejay, after you follow my instructions above, you go to the bottom of the phone, click on search and select any artist or title as you choose. After you have chosen your selection, scroll down until you come to the section, titled ringtones. click on "$1.29" for any ringtone, you want to purchase.

Felic, there is no monthly fee if you purchase the ringtone from the iTunes store. I also do not believe there is a monthly fee from Verizon if you purchase their ringtone. You should be aware that it is cheaper to buy a ringtone from the iTunes store compared to Verizon- $1.29 vs. $1.99.

The monthly fee is for the ringback tone.

Ringback tones are also managed through the users' MyVerizon account.
