My son just landed in Cancun, Mexico and his iPhone 13 pro won't work??? All of his friends' phones are working. Tried resetting but to no avail. One friend has iPhone13 on AT&T network and his works fine but found a bunch of posts on this site indicating Verizon service does not work in Mexico on an iPhone 13 pro? Are you kidding me?????

I am beyond frustrated. My son just landed in Mexico and his iPhone 13 pro will not work there. Now he is without the ability to communicate with his parents & friends which is a safety concern for us. Is this a known problem?
