**iPhone 5 shipping schedules**

There seems to be a lot of confusion on when everyone will actually receive the iPhone 5. Pre-orders for new devices have approximate delivery dates and are never official. For an example, Dave pre-ordered an iPhone 5 on 09/15 but there is still a possibility the device will be delivered to the address by 09/21. I've seen this happen many times. Here are the delivery dates for iPhone 5 pre-orders:

If you have not received shipping info or a tracking number by now you are not receiving your phone today. I got my shipping/tracking email at 2 AM and it says delivery by 9/24. I'm beyond livid and waiting for a VW supervisor to call me back since I did have a delivery by 9/21 on my confirmation email. Apparently this is happening to A LOT of people, so if you do not have shipping info by now, you are not going to receive your phone today. Whats even worse is that I knew something was up when I didnt receive my shipping stuff yesterday but wen I called tehy said everything was fine..bunch of LIARS!

Same story with MANY VW customers. I was told yesterday that I was getting it and all the excuses other CSR had told me were false. "Don't worry, you will have the tracking # by 7pm. JOKE!!! If your confirmation said deliver by 9/21/12 then that is not a misunderstanding its merely a misrepresentation by VW.

same thing happened to me! My confirmation email said deliver by 9/21/12. I still have yet to receive a shipping confirmation email. I pre-ordered from my local verizon store and when I called them they pretty much wouldn't give me any information and told me they would contact me when my phone arrived but couldn't tell me when. When I check my order status it just says "your order has been received and is in process, estimated shipping date: 9/21"...ugh I'm so frustrated! Anyone else having similar problems?

Welcome to to club awindell! Many of us have the same issue and " its a misunderstanding" on the customers part not VW". Yes, I guess we were all told the same story, rec'd the deliver by 9/21/12, confirmation and ALL COMMUNICATION HAS NOW SEIZED!  The order status page is not working due to technical difficulties since last night. Ship date changed to 9/21/12...no emails updating this change, nothing.  Oh best thing is trying to get a straight answer. I have heard so many different excuses that when I spoke to a supervisor I started laughing out of frustration.

I am not upset that I didn't receive the phone today. A little disappointed, but not upset. I figured it would be like his.

However, I am upset that I cannot find out when the new phone will ship! This is poor customer service. If anything, tell us that you don't know. I just want the truth!

I'm on hold right now with customer service. CSR: well your order status says it's not going to ship until 9/21....me: yeah that's today, is it going to ship today?....CSR: umm i'm going to put you on hold for just a second...

Good Luck awindell!! I called today and was put on hold for so long I hung up. CSR called me back about 20 min. later to say "no tracking info available" and was not aware the order status page online is not working.  I was told to expect my phone on 9/25/12 but not sure since tracking info is not available.

it's heeeeerrrrrr! everything came including the accessories i ordered, now to active and port!

CSR I spoke with was very helpful and friendly and I even apologized for all the "unhappy" customers I'm sure she has dealt with today. She confirmed that my phone is shipping today but with the large amount of phones shipping today, shipping emails are being sent out in a schedule but that I should receive mine by noon. She said phones shipping today are expected to be delivered on Monday. One more weekend with this iPhone 4 isn't going to kill me

So even if your order status says "in process" like mine does but with a shipping date of 9/21 it should still ship today even if you haven't received a tracking number yet. Hope this helps someone!

My credit card was never billed because I pre-ordered it through my local verizon store so I just have to pay for it when I pick it up from them. I had it shipped to them incase I was at work when it came.

I called internet orders today because I ordered my phone early on 9/14 and was given a date of 9/21 for delivery. I wasn't charged and had no updates as of this morning. The gentleman said that A LOT of phones that were supposed to be delivered today just didn't make it out in time. There was nothing wrong with my order they are still just processing the 9/21 shipments. He said that they would get out all of the phones today that didn't get sent out by yesterday.

I just hope the 9/26 deliveries don't get processed for my phone. I am already angry as it is. They better hurry up and process my order. I wish they would send it for Saturday delivery since they failed to get it here by today as promised.

I never received an email from Verizon with shipping/tracking info. I was wondering what happened, I called the 800 number for Verizon and then was given a tracking number today. My phone is on the truck for delivery by 3pm. So, don't know what happened to shipping email but I'm happy its on the truck for delivery today.

I ordered at 6am boston.  Mine still said 9-21-12.

When I was finally able to check my order status it stated shipping on the 21st (Friday)??? So I am assuming it will be here Monday the 24th. I am not sure of what the correct answer is but placed order on the 14th and received confirmation at at 7:24 AM EDST.

This is playing out just like the 4S rollout.  Your pre-order will say shipping on 9/21 but that actually means delivered by that date.   I ordered mine at 10 min. before 00:00 PDT on the 14th and got a 9/21 "shipping" date.  Today I got confirmation that my order shipped via FedEx and tracking shows a 9/21 delivery date (by 3:00 PM) with overnight delivery. 

It's all good.

everything is happening opposite for me, I ordered on 14 Sept about 0630 est and got a confirmation email within the hour.  Everything shows 9/21 but have not been charged yet, have not seen anything about shipping.

The same for me too.

I ordered about 9/14, 0700 mst and got confirmation email immediately saying that deliver by 9/21. However, nothing happened since then, no further email, no charge and even can not find order status.
