As of today (10/22/13) I can't text, call, or check my account. When I send a text message it says "Delivery Failed: (Service Not Available)"

I've tried calling someone, and the call doesn't go through, it just drops. When I call service numbers, like *611, it says that "Sorry, I'm having some technical difficulties"

what's going on?

I live in Jackson, MS area. my zip is 39211

i have straight talk normally but only verizon prepaid will work on the cruis ships and i need tpo have a phone while iam away due to family issues already cant wait to go back to straight talk

Woke up and I cant text anybody it says send failed. cant call anybody it just drops. tried customer service and just get told technical difficulties. I just put mins on this phone yesterday and worse I just turned it on two days ago. why did I leave straight talk??

Let us all please stick to the issue at hand.  Verizon has shut off it's prepaid subscribers.  WHY?  We all want to know because this is a huge invonvenience.  I for one will be damanding extra time back for this.  Verizon won't let us know what is going on or even when the problem will be resolved. I doubt political comparison jokes are going to help.  This is frustrating enough let alone to mix in other situations.

I've also tried to look at my account and can't.  The message is the service is unavailable at this time.  There has been no response from Verizon as to why this is going on.
