My 5c has a blank screen and won't do anything. I tried holding down home and power button at the same time...nothing. When I plug it in to charge, it makes a few short vibrations, but that's it. Any ideas? HELP!

That really stinks. Here's what I would do. I would try calling Apple at the number mentioned and seeing if they can help you. Apple has repaired or replaced things outside of warranty before even though they have no legal obligation to do so. If your especially sincere and explain your blight you might get someone who will help. Like they say it never hurts to ask. Alternatively, you can see what it would cost to fix your iPhone or buy one off Swappa (they all get verified prior to listing).

The first thing I would try to do is charge it to make sure that it has enough power. If its still not working after that then you have these: Call Apple Support at 800-694-7466 if still under warranty, if you have AppleCare+ call previously mentioned number, or if you have Asurion you can file a claim at Asurion. Alternatively, if you have an Apple Store you can take your iPhone there or an Apple Authorized Service Provider. One other thing you can always try taking your iPhone to a corporate VZW store.

Yes, it is charged. When I plug in the charger, I get a vibration about every 5 seconds (my phone is always on vibrate only)
I don't have insurance. I would imagine the warranty is one year? If so, I got it January 2014, so there goes that. I guess I start researching apple authorized repair centers. That stinks...only a year and one month old and can't get a new phone til next January. My first iphone... may be my last.
Thanks for your response.
