It's nice to hear that some folks have had luck with FedEx. I've tried on many occasions to have them help me and never got anywhere. Not with Verizon but with other places I've patronized. If ever I'm given the option in shipping I always choose UPS because I can tell when it's coming within a 2 hour window and I can request that it be held for pick up online without any hassle or having to call them.

I just got off the phone with FedEx support and they were able to process the Hold at Location request. I then got a call from my local FedEx location confirming the request and letting me know that they'll hold it there for me on Friday. If all goes smoothly I should be able to swing over after work Friday and pick it up.
